Prayer is the raising up of the heart and mind to God, and all who are Christian need to seek themselves and the Lord Jesus in prayer. It is not a dispensable option, and Jesus himself called us to pray as part of the fullness of living. It is humbly presenting ourselves to encounter the Lord in the sure hope that we will be transformed.

"Lord, teach us how to pray ...", his disciples asked. He said to them: "When you pray, say: Father, may your name be held holy and your Kingdom come, give us each day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins, as we ourselves forgive each one who is in debt to us, and do not let us fall into temptation." Luke 11: 1-4
